As Zafira engines were considered reliable for partnerships, they were brought into different brands of Vauxhall, Holden and Chevrolet that cater to different markets. Zafira was launched in UK with the name Vauxhall Zafira during 1999. Due to its sporty appearance, reliability and roominess it started garnering good market. This could also be contributed to the factor that it used be keeping with the Astra’s platform for its reliability in the UK and European markets.
Vauxhall Zafira came with options of petrol and diesel. Second generation of Zafira was launched in the year 2005; Opel marketed it under its umbrella in most of the countries except in the UK it was launched as Vauxhall Zafira. It came with options of petro engine and diesel engine. The second generation had more response from the market when compared with the first generation.
Vauxhall’s Vectra sale was considered the easiest selling edition UK and that was overtaken by Vauxhall Zafira.
